According to Brown, a second search warrant was executed on Hill’s Facebook account, which contained photos of many of the stolen property items and had been posted on the site within hours of the burglaries.

A 25-year-old Far Rockaway man, being held on charges at Rikers Island, was sentenced to 16 years to life as a persistent felon for burglarizing two Queens homes.
“The defendant, who admitted to burglarizing two residences – violated the sanctity of the victims’ homes – in an effort to enrich himself at the expense of others,” said Queens DA Brown. “The defendant took their valuables and because he is a persistent felon, the defendant will spend a very long time incarcerated for his actions.”
Defendant Naquan Hill, appeared before Acting Queens Supreme Court Justice Barry Kron, earlier this month and plead guilty to two counts of second-degree burglary. Justice Kron handed down a 16- year sentence to the mandatory persistent felon who attempted an escape from Rikers Island this past July.
Hill entered six separate Queens residences between July 1 and November 28, 2016, and removed property including jewelry, electronics and clothing. His DNA was recovered at five of the burglaries and in addition, police were able to trace some of the electronics to the defendant’s Far Rockaway residence right after the burglaries by using the Find My iPhone App.
Hill used his own name, phone number and email address to register several of the stolen devices. Police who executed a search warrant on his residence recovered property stolen from the six burglaries, as well as from other burglaries in Queens and Nassau County. A second search, executed on his Facebook account, contained photos of many of the stolen property items and had been posted on the site within hours of the burglaries.
