City detectives on Friday reached out to the public for help in identifying the man wanted for questioning in connection with two armed robberies in South Ozone Park last month.
According to police reports, on Friday, March 23, around 9 p.m., the suspect approached an 18-year-old and 21-year-old victim in the vicinity of 109th Avenue and 120th Street, showed a firearm, and demanded money. He fled on foot with approximately $100 on cash.
According to cops, the same man struck three days later, on Monday, March 26. According to the NYPD report, the suspect approached a man near Linden Boulevard and 121st Street, displayed a gun, and demanded money. He then forcibly removed the victim’s wallet and fled with his property containing miscellaneous items and $41 in cash.
No one was injured in either incident, police said.
The suspect is described simply as a black man in his mid-20s.
