A heated war of words between two straphangers last week aboard a train in a Forest Hills station devolved into a physical altercation that ended with one man stabbed and the other on the run, cops said.
According to police reports, on Wednesday, Sept. 26, around 5 p.m., the victim, 49, and his unidentified assailant were “engaged in a verbal dispute” on an F train at the Queens Boulevard-75th Avenue station when the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest and leg with a knife before fleeing the car. He was last seen running out of the station. The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was treated and released, police officials said.
The perpetrator is described as a black man, approximately 45 years old, 6-feet, 220 pounds, with brown eyes, dark complexion, medium build, and a gray beard; he was last seen wearing black pants, a gray sweatshirt, black sneakers, and a tan cap.
