More than 50 basketball teams helped raise critical funds for cancer awareness and education last weekend at the annual St. Stan’s Battle Against Breast Cancer tournament in Ozone Park.
Pictured here are two of the four local school teams that emerged victorious: St. Helen Catholic Academy of Howard Beach (7th grade) and St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr DII of Ozone Park (7th grade). The other two winners were St. Mary Gate of Heaven of Ozone Park (6th grade) and St. Stan’s DII (6th grade).
