Assemblyman Mike Miller (D-Woodhaven) recently kicked off his 10th annual Valentines for Veterans drive to benefit the residents of the State Veterans’ Home in St. Albans.
Miller said he’s collecting unused travel sized toiletries and new clothing items for male and female veterans at the home. The drive will run through Feb. 6; items can be dropped off at Miller’s district office, located at 83-91 Woodhaven Blvd.
“I enjoy doing this event every year because it brings our community together to help veterans,” Miller added.
