Cops on Thursday reached out to the public via social media for help in identifying and locating two men wanted in connection with a brutal attack on a Richmond Hill subway platform that was caught on camera.
In the 16-second clip, which was recorded on Sunday, June 23, around 10:40 p.m., two men pound a third man with punches until the victim hits the platform of the Woodhaven Boulevard J/Z station. The attackers then viciously stomp the man as he writhes on the ground. According to published reports, the victim was treated at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for a broken nose and cuts and bruises.
Detectives assigned to the 102nd Precinct posted the video to Twitter on Thursday, noting that reward for information on the perpetrators is up to $2,500. Anyone who knows or has seen the duo is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800) 577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, (888) 57-PISTA (74782).
