Area NYPD officials recently sat down with community leaders to develop a plan to address a persistent quality of life concern in Lindenwood: noise.
For several years—especially during spring and summer months—residents have been punished at all hours of the night by music blaring from Chisholm State Park in neighboring East New York. So 106th Precinct commanding officer, Capt. John Costello (c.), and 75th Precinct CO, Dep. Inspector Rohan Griffith, organized Thursday’s confab with Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic NYPD Community Partner Maria Asaro and members of the 106th Precinct Community Council to cultivate a strategy to help mitigate the incessant issue.
