During its special “Donuts with Daddy” event last weekend, the Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic helped the West Hamilton Beach Fire Department—and smashed a fundraising goal in the process.
“Thanks to the community and a Howard Beach angel, we surpassed our goal of raising $2,500 for the volunteer fire department!” the civic wrote on Facebook.
Congrats to the WHBVFD, the civic, and the community for coming through for the people who come through for them every day.
