In a show of force for the Force, hundreds of South Queens residents and elected officials gathered at a series of vigils over the past week calling for prayers of support for City cops.

City Councilwoman Joann Ariola led two vigils: with the Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic on Sunday near the 106th Precinct stationhouse in Ozone Park; and Tuesday evening outside the 100th Precinct stationhouse on Rockaway Beach Boulevard.

“We have your backs,” she told cops.

Rivera was laid to rest on Friday. Mora, Rivera’s partner, was interred on Wednesday. Both officers died after they were shot in Harlem on Jan. 21 while responding to a domestic violence call

“This type of senseless violence needs to stop, and we must work together on the City and State levels to rationally address the gun violence in our city,” said State Sen. Joe Addabbo, Jr. (D-Howard Beach).

A candelight vigil for the slain officers was scheduled for Wednesday evening outside Borough Hall, according to Borough President Donovan Richards, Jr.
