City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park) on Tuesday hosted the Met Council’s Food Distribution for First Responders and Veterans sponsored by the Sol Goldman Charitable Trust at her Ozone Park district office.
Ariola called the event “a great success.”
“Thanks to our partners at the Met Council for helping to make this possible,” the councilwoman added. “And a big thank you to our local American Legion members, who came by and picked up food to deliver to disabled vets in our district.”
