“What a great way to honor all of our local School Crossing Guards, who oftentimes may go unrecognized in their communities,” Addabbo said. “It was a privilege to partner with my colleagues in government to celebrate these amazing individuals who have been School Crossing Guards for years — some of them for over 30 years! I want thank Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar, Assemblyman Steven Raga, Councilwoman Joann Ariola, Councilwoman Lynn Schulman, Councilman Robert Holden, and their representatives for their participation and providing each School Crossing Guard with citations, as well as the Woodhaven Manor and its amazing staff for hosting this fantastic event.”
