The Queens Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday announced the exceptional building projects that will be honored at its 2024 Building Awards Gala, which will take place on Oct. 10 at The TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The Queens Chamber of Commerce has hosted the prestigious event since 1926. On the occasion of its ninety-eighth anniversary, the gala has recognized projects “that contribute to the architectural and economic vitality of the borough, ensuring Queens remains a vibrant, sustainable, and livable community,” the chamber noted.

“Queens continues to be an inspiration for how New York City thinks about our future, with critical projects that are reshaping the borough’s skyline and economy, like our reimagined airports and a livable neighborhood in Willets Point with thousands of new housing units,” said Carlo A. Scissura, Esq., president and CEO of the New York Building Congress, who will deliver the gala’s keynote address. “These ambitious initiatives are more than just construction projects – they represent the economic engine driving New York forward. The 2024 Building Awards Gala is a celebration of the builders, developers and visionaries who are making this possible.
