Members of the City Council Common Sense Caucus—including Council Minority Leader Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park), Minority Whip Vickie Paladino (R-Whitestone), and Councilman Bob Holden (D-Maspeth)—met with U.S. Border Czar Tom Homan on Thursday to discuss the public safety risks of sanctuary laws.
“Mayor Adams knows the problem—now he must act,” Holden said. “Words aren’t enough. It’s time for real changes that put safety first.”
