Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Howard Beach) announced on Monday that she is seeking nominations for the 2025 Women of Distinction Awards.
The annual honor highlights the contributions by women who work or reside within the 23rd Assembly District, which encompasses the communities of Ozone Park, Lindenwood, Howard Beach, Hamilton Beach, Broad Channel, and all across the Rockaway Peninsula.
“Every year I honor a range of women throughout our district who devote themselves to their community and exemplify the best of the New York spirit. The women who have received this honor put the neighborhood and community above themselves, and I am excited to once again open the opportunity for nominations and have even more wonderful women join this sisterhood,” said Pheffer Amato.
