A grey seal on Saturday surfaced on the beach near Charles Park.
Area resident John Eastzer not only captured images and video of the precious pup, but also made sure it wasn’t in distress. He called the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the State Department of Environmental Conservation; officials told him that the seal looked to be healthy, should not be disturbed, and will likely head back out to sea on its own. After relaxing for a bit, the seal waddled its way home.
