The long-awaited turn signal into Forest View Crescent Co-Op on Union Turnpike just off Woodhaven Boulevard has been installed, City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park) recently announced.
According to Ariola, the new directional light “will make turning into the complex safer for both drivers and pedestrians.”
The lawmaker credited her office and the City Department of Transportation with spearheading the installation of the signal.
“One more win for traffic safety in our community!” Ariola wrote on Twitter.
