Police are searching for three pickpockets who allegedly stole wallets by distracting or bumping into shoppers at the Rego Center Mall.

It’s happened three times this month at the shopping center where Junction Boulevard and Queens Boulevard meet, police said.

On May 6 at around 4:30 in the afternoon, one suspect distracted a 63-year-old man while a second suspect bumped into him and managed to pull out his wallet and credit cards. Those cards were later used at a nearby department store.

The next afternoon at 3:30, the second suspect once again ran into a shopper who realized later that her wallet was taken from her purse.

Her credit cards, too, were used in a nearby department store after the theft.

An hour later that same day, another shopper realized her wallet was missing from her purse, and charges once again appeared at a nearby store.

Authorities are looking for one man and two women in the crime.

Police said the man is Hispanic, in his 30s, has short black hair with a dyed blond streak on the side, and has a tattoo of the name “Rickey” on the side of his neck.

Both the women reportedly have short black hair and are near 40 years old.

Both are said to be Hispanic or black, one with a light complexion.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.

All calls are strictly confidential.
