Silver Barn Farms, on 80th Street & Caldwell Avenue, just off Eliot Avenue in Middle Village, has just completed major renovations to create a building true to its heritage. The historic location was once a working dairy farm that served the community with fresh milk for nearly 60 years.
In 1969, Silver Barn opened a small store and then moved to its current location after the A&P Supermarket closed in 1970.
To celebrate more than 40 years of service and its great new farmhouse look with the community, Silver Barn Farms will celebrate its grand re-opening, starting on Monday, March 19 and concluding on Sunday, April 1. There will be special sales, food tastings and giveaways.
