Police are searching for a suspect wanted for three separate cases of rape and robbery that occurred in Forest Hills.
Cops say that Ibrahima Ragis raped and robbed three women on different days. All three incidents happened in a span of about two weeks and in the early morning hours.
On May 19 at 3:29 a.m., Ragis allegedly grabbed a 19-year-old woman as she was entering her Forest Hills home, pulled her into a walkway and sexually abused her. He then allegedly took the girl’s money and cell phone and fled the area. Ragis was also armed with a knife.
The second incident happened nine days later on May 28. At 3 a.m., he raped a 17-year-old girl that was walking in front of her home in Forest Hills. Ragis, who was also allegedly armed with a knife during this incident, put his hand over the female’s mouth and dragged her to an ally where he raped her. No robbery was reported for this incident. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released.
Then, six days later, on June 3 at 2:37 a.m., Ragis is accused of robbing a 22-year-old female as she was entering her home in Forest Hills. He allegedly showed his knife to the victim and demanded that she give him her property. After an eyewitness saw the incident unfolding, he fled the area with the victim’s possessions. No injuries were reported from this incident.
Ragis is described as a 20-year-old male that has black hair, is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. The NYPD released a photo of the suspect on June 6.
