Armed Man Robs Ridgewood Bank

A man flashed a gun at a Citibank in Ridgewood and walked out with thousands of dollars in cash last week, police said.

At around 10 a.m. on July 25, the suspected robber walked into the bank at 51-10 Metropolitan Avenue and showed an employee a black firearm while he demanded cash, according to officials.

He then made off on foot with about $5,800, police said.

He’s described as a white male, around 30-years-old wearing a white t-shirt and blue shorts.

The NYPD’s Major Case Squad and 104th Precinct Detective Squad are conducting an investigation.
