A 52-year-old man nicknamed “Dollar Bill” was sentenced last week for prostituting a 15-year-old girl out of his Queens home.
William Johnson of St. Albans, admitted in April of 2011, to offering sexual services from the underage victim in exchange for money between August and September 2010.
According to court documents, the girl was one of many females exploited by Johnson in his prostitution scheme, where he drugged the women with cocaine and ecstasy to induce compliance.
Prosecutors also said Johnson generated clientele by posting advertisements on Craigslist.org, and Backpage.com, offering “erotic services.” The ads were lewd in nature with the girls in suggestive poses and wearing very little.
The case was a result of joint investigation by the NYC Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
In addition to the 17-and-a half years in prison, Johnson received five years supervised release.
