Suspect wanted for Robbery in South Richmond Hill

Police are looking for a man in relation to a robbery that took place two weeks ago.

The suspect, who police describe as an African-American male, is wanted for a robbery that took place near 124 Street and Liberty Avenue in South Richmond Hill.

According to police, on August 23rd, the suspect approached a 46-year-old man and snatched a chain from his neck, then fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. There were no reported injuries to the victim.

Police said that the suspect was last seen wearing a light-colored tank top and white shorts. They also released a surveillance video of the man. In the video, the suspect is clearly seen hopping the fence from next door and walking into a backyard around the time the incident occurred.
