Police are looking for a suspect who was caught on camera stabbing another man in the buttocks at a Rego Park Deli.
The incident occurred on Sunday, September 9 at around 5:45 p.m. at International Deli, which is on 63rd Road in Rego Park, cops said.
The 31-second surveillance video clearly shows the suspect walking into the deli, approaching the man from behind and stabbing him five times in the buttocks before fleeing the establishment moments after it happened.
The victim appears to be taking a bag from a child only seconds before the incident. It is not clear in the video exactly what the suspect used to stab the victim.
According to police, the man is described as being between 30-40 years old, six feet, two inches tall and weighing in at about 220 pounds.
At the time of the stabbing, the suspect was wearing a white shirt, gray sweat pants, black sneakers and a black hat.
