Students at a Lindenwood elementary school will now get a chance to conduct their own science experiments in a state-of-the-art science lab, thanks to the efforts of Councilman Eric Ulrich.

City Councilman Eric Ulrich (R-Ozone Park) joined students and teachers from P.S 232 in Lindenwood as they opened its new classroom science lab last week.
The lab was first announced two years ago by the councilman who secured $500,000 in funding for the project, which will help the students study for the New York State Regents exam.

The elementary school’s principal, Lisa Josephson, thanked Ulrich for providing money for the lab. “Councilman Ulrich has been a reliable partner of our school community and we are so grateful for his support,” she said.

“This is a great investment in our children and a wonderful addition to the school,” Ulrich said.
