Easy Easter Treats

Marshmallow Bunnies

Frost a marshmallow with your favorite frosting,
and then roll it in flaked coconut. Attach two miniature
marshmallows for the feet and decorate with candies for the
eyes, nose, and whiskers. For ears, use kitchen shears to cut
a strip from the top edge of a large marshmallow, then attach
with a bit of frosting.

Birds Nest Cupcakes

Make a batch of your favorite cupcakes. Set them aside to cool and in a medium mixing bowl take one can of your favorite vanilla (white) frosting. Add a few drops of green food color while mixing the frosting steadily until you have achieved the light/medium grassy color. When desired coloring has been achieved, load the frosting into a disposable piping bag fitted with a simple grass tip.

Hold the bag at an angle over the top of the cupcake and just pipe little clusters of “grass” over the top of the cupcake. Next take three or four mini Cadbury eggs and place them in the center of the cake.

You can take your creativity one step further by bending a pipe cleaner and inserting one end in each side of the cupcakes to form a handle—now you have a beautiful, edible basket of Easter Eggs!
