Assemblyman Phil Goldfeder presents a Certificate of appreciation from the New York State Assembly to Founder and President of the Lindenwood Alliance, Joann Ariola.
Assemblyman Phil Goldfeder made a special presentation at the Lindenwood Alliance monthly meeting on Monday night. The assembly member told those in attendance that he wanted to recognize the Alliance itself for their extraordinary efforts during Superstorm Sandy. “Almost 85% of my district was destroyed during Sandy and we relied on the kindness of others to get us through our most difficult times,” Goldfeder said.
“The Lindenwood Alliance stepped up when so many were running away and supported the victims and families with clothes, shelter and care. I was proud to offer a small award and thank them for their tireless efforts during the Sandy relief effort and for all the great work they do in the community.”
