Members of Girl Scout Troop 4993 and their Troop Leader Jacqueline Storm-Careccia have shown admirable efforts and generosity within the community. After the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy, the girls from Troop 4993 wanted to help and decided that they would try to find a place right here in their area that would benefit most from their efforts. They chose NYFAC to receive over 500 books, games, toys and videos acquired during the “Book and Toy Drive” they held in the Lindenwood shopping center on Saturday June 8th.
