A South Ozone Park man was rushed to the hospital this week after the car he was working on fell onto his head, emergency responders said.
The individual was removed from under a light green Honda Prelude, which fell onto his head after the jack-lift failed while he was working on it around 6 p.m. on Sunday in the driveway of a house near 116th Avenue and 131st Street in South Ozone Park.
Firefighters and EMTs treated the victim, who responders said suffered from trauma wounds to his forehead.
A witness said he called 911 while attempting to free the man from the vehicle.
The man was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.
