A motorcyclist was killed around 4:30 a.m. last Friday in Glendale after he veered into oncoming traffic and collided head on with a vehicle on Woodhaven Boulevard near 78th Avenue, police said.
The 29-year-old male victim, who has not been identified, was traveling northbound on his bike when he entered the southbound lane and crashed into a Jeep, the NYPD said.
The man was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The vehicle’s 72-year-old female driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
