The Howard Beach Assembly of God welcomed community residents to a day of fun and food on Saturday at Hamilton Beach Park/Playground. There were games and activities planned throughout the day, including flag football, sack races and face painting for the kids.
Pastor Steven Roser and his wife Sharon were joined by church members who helped with set up and served food to the crowds who came down to enjoy the church’s generosity.
Sandwiches, wraps and beverages were plentiful and residents flocked to the event. The Howard Beach Assembly of God church is located at 158-31 99th Street in Howard Beach.
