104th Celebrates Community Safety Day

The community came out in full force to the 104th Precinct’s Community Safety Day on Aug. 21 to enjoy everything from rock climbing to hanging out with McGruff the Crime Dog.

Capt. Christopher Manson, the commanding officer; police from community affairs, crime prevention, domestic violence, and highway patrol, among other units; and 104th Community Council members spent the day with residents of all ages as part of the day’s festivities.

Residents munched on hot dogs, played sports and, most importantly, connected with their neighborhood police – who spoke to them about everything from bicycle safety to concerns about crime.
