It seems one man’s dreams of green have gone up in smoke.
Police from the 104th Precinct arrested a man after they discovered hundreds of marijuana plants at a warehouse in Ridgewood last Thursday.
Cops said they executed a search warrant for the building located at 16-51 Cody Ave. and confiscated 580 pot plants – which have a street value of about $500,000.
According to police, the operation had a potential of $6 million per year in illegal drug sales.
The NYPD said they arrested one man in connection with the bust, who police said also allegedly illegally tapped more than $150,000 worth of electricity from Con Edison.
