The United Veterans & Fraternal Organizations of Maspeth will hold its annual candlelight ceremony on Monday, May 19 at 8 p.m.
The event will be located at Maspeth Memorial Park, at the corner of 69th Street and Grand Avenue. If there is rain, the ceremony will be held at the American Legion Hall Post #783 at 66-28 Grand Ave. in Maspeth.
The ceremony is held in honor of the deceased American servicemen and women who bravely risked and sacrificed their lives for our country.
