A wide variety of companies will be interviewing for more than 100 job openings for veterans and current members of the National Guard and Reserves from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday, May 25 at Russo’s on the Bay in Howard Beach.
Councilman Eric Ulrich (R-Ozone Park) and America Works of New York are sponsoring the fair, at which service members and veterans will have the chance to speak directly with hiring managers and interview on the spot. There will be a conglomerate of large companies, small businesses, and unions attending the event.
Veterans are asked to bring their resume and to make sure they have a number of copies to provide to employers.
