Robert Finnerty, husband of Richmond Hill South Civic President Margaret Finnerty, was elected national executive officer to represent New York with the National Disabled Veterans group. He will serve for a two-year term after already garnering experience as a past New York state commander as well as department commander.
Robert also served as a commander for Chapter 118 of the DAV in Glendale.
In addition to Finnerty, Nancy Rivera was also elected national executive officer to represent New York over the next two years. Rivera also collected experience as a past state commander of the DAV auxiliary and past commander of Unit 118.
