AMCA’s Second Grade Class held a “Cupcakes and Cookies for a Cause!” Bake Sale earlier that day (April 17th) which benefited the organization “No Kid Hungry”. This service project was part of their final preparations to receive First Holy Communion this Saturday, April 25th. They raised $325!
The class worked very hard decorating the delicious treats and advertising the event in addition to setting up and serving, with the help of AMCA Principal Miss Marybeth McManus, and Second Grade teacher Miss Kathleen Marra. They all had a great time while helping children in need through their efforts.
