Jeff Schiff, former commanding officer of the 106th Precinct, recently celebrated his promotion to Inspector from Deputy Inspector.
In March, after two years as the top cop at the 106, Schiff was tapped to take the reins at the massive 105th Precinct in Queens Village. Captain James Fey succeeded Schiff at the 106.
Marking the milestone with the newly minted Inspector are his son, Tristan Tiberius, and his wife, NYPD Sgt. Dorian Schiff (Ret.)
And Inspector Schiff will soon celebrate another achievement: on July 18, 1996 – 20 years ago – he was sworn in as a City police officer.
