Detectives have asked for the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a Glendale gas station earlier this year.
On Sunday, May 22, around noon, the suspect entered station on Cooper Avenue and asked for a sports drink. Security footage shows that he then proceeded to display a firearm to the employee – a 58-year-old man – inside and demanded cash. The victim complied and the suspect then removed approximately $1,000 in cash and fled.
He is described as a black man, 40 to 50 years old, and 200 to 220 pounds.
