Cops Search for Jeep Thief

Police have reached out to the public for help in identifying and locating the man they believe is responsible for a July car theft in Woodhaven.

According to investigators, on Monday, July 25, around 4:30 a.m., the suspect approached a 2014 Jeep parked inside a residential driveway on 79th Street and, using a using a recently stolen key, got behind the wheel and sped off in it.

Cops said the suspect is described as a white man wearing camouflage shorts and a grey T-shirt.
