The Jamaica man who was convicted at trial of predatory sexual assault against a child, endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the sexual abuse of three children will spend the next 45 years to life behind bars.
Tyron Adolph, 26 , of 116th Avenue in Jamaica, has been held in jail in lieu of $300,000 bail since his arrest on January 3, 2015, was convicted of predatory sexual assault against two separate children and one count of endangering the welfare of a third child on October 19, 2016, following a four-week jury trial.
On various occasions between 2014 and 2015, Adolph had been entrusted with the care of the victims at his home. During that time he sexually assaulted them. The incidents occurred when one victim was five and six years in age, another victim was seven years in age, and the third victim was nine to eleven years in age.
“The defendant was a friend of the families of the three victims and he used that friendship to take advantage of innocent children for his own sexual gratification,” said District Attorney Richard Brown. “The sentence imposed today by the Court is a measure of justice for the victims in this case who each endured a traumatic and painful ordeal at the hands of the defendant.”
