106th Precinct officials last week detailed the results of a search warrant that was executed last month in Ozone Park.
In the early morning hours of Thursday, March 16, officers recovered more than seven grams of crack-cocaine; a stolen, loaded 9mm handgun; drug packaging materials; and scales from a home on 93rd Avenue near Atlantic Avenue.
The warrant, according to cops, was the result of a long-term drug investigation.
“I am extremely proud of the dedicated work of these officers. Numerous firearm arrests have been effected this year due to our precision policing,” said Capt. Brian Bohannon, commanding officer.
According to investigators, information developed by 106 Field Intelligence officers led precinct officials to apply for the warrant.
Two men were also arrested. Charges included criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
