Cops Still Searching for South Ozone Park Safe Thieves

The crooks swiped the safe from a home in the vicinity of 149th Avenue and 123rd Street.

City cops on Thursday reached out to the public for help in identifying the two men wanted in connection with a recent incident in which a safe was stolen from a private South Ozone Park residence.
According to police reports, on Friday, July 14, around 12:10 a.m. the two suspects gained access to a private residence in the vicinity of 149th Avenue and 123rd Street by unknown means. Once inside the home, the men removed a safe containing $150,000 in cash and jewelry, then departed in a dark-color sedan to parts unknown.
