The popular NYC Ferry has already passed the one-million rider mark—just three months after its maiden voyage.
“Since its launch on May 1, 2017, the NYC Ferry has served thousands of New York City residents, providing them affordable, reliable transit between Rockaway Beach and ‘The Big Apple,’” said State Sen. Joseph Addabbo, Jr. (D-Howard Beach). “I think it is a true testament to transportation alternatives citywide, how in just three months the Rockaway ferry has already served 221,000 passengers. This successful mode of transportation will have a direct economic benefit to the Rockaway peninsula.”
