Hundreds of families descended on Forest Park on Saturday for food, fun, activities and much more at the 44th annual Richmond Hill Park Fair.
Organized each year at the intersection of Park Lane South and Myrtles Avenue by the Richmond Hill Block Association, the free festival featured rides, raffles, live music courtesy of several bands, craft vendors, giveaways, and dance and martial arts performances.
This year’s fair was dedicated to Assemblyman Michael Simanowitz, who succumbed to cancer earlier this month.
“He was always an advocate and friend to the Richmond Hill Block Association, as well his constituents,” the RHBA noted in a statement.
