A jury has found two Queens men guilty of murder in the 2015 shooting death of a Bronx resident, who had just left a party at a club owned by one of the defendants.
“This is yet another example of the senseless gun violence that has plagued our community. A 35-year-old father was gunned down in the early morning hours in a residential neighborhood,” said DA Richard Brown.
Neon Osouna, 38, of Guy R. Brewer Boulevard, and Brandon Williams, 36, of 159thStreet., who refer to each other as cousins, were found guilty of second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
According to trial testimony, on Saturday, December 26, 2015, Donald Reed, 35, attended at party along with friends at an establishment called the Smoke Shop, owned byOsouna, where Williams worked as a bouncer.
Reed’s friends left the GuyR. Brewer Boulevard club without him around 6:30 a.m. He caught up with the group at a nearby bodega a few minutes later. Osuna and Williams, who were both armed, followed Reed from the club and fired at Reed, who also had a gun.
The victim was shot four times and succumbed to his injuries.
Both men face up to 25 years to life prison at that time
