City Councilman Eric Ulrich (R-Ozone Park) is set to host next month a mobile medical center in Ozone Park which will provide eligible women no-cost mammograms and clinical breast exams.
The American-Italian Cancer Foundation will set up its Mammogram Bus on Friday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in front of Ulrich’s Ozone Park district office, located at 93-06 101st Ave.
Eligibility requirements: women aged 40-79 with health insurance; women aged 50-79 without health insurance; currently living in New York City; no mammogram in the past 12 months.
According to Ulrich, no co-pays required and deductibles are waived. Uninsured patients also welcomed. Appointment required.
