Cops assigned to an elite City Police Department division on Saturday talked a suicidal man down from a borough bridge.
According to NYPD Special Operations, a despondent man was threatening to leap from the Kosciuszko Bridge Saturday morning when members of the Emergency Service Unit stepped in and eventually convinced the man to climb back over to safety. He was placed into custody and transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
