All residents of a South Richmond Hill house were safe and sound Wednesday, hours after a home invasion Tuesday night quickly turned into a hostage situation.
According to the police and published reports, two men surrendered to cops around 2 a.m. Wednesday. The suspects had entered the residence on 125th Street (NYPD Special Ops image pictured) around 9 p.m. Tuesday.
“Shortly after midnight, the NYPD’s 106th Precinct said that all hostages had been removed from the home, and all were safe with no injuries reported,” according to an NBC 4 New York report. “A total of five people, all women, were held hostage, police later confirmed.”
