Two City cops working a domestic violence case Tuesday were wounded and a suspected perpetrator was killed in a wild shootout in Springfield Gardens, City and NYPD officials said.

“Thank God they’re going to pull through,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said of Officers Joseph Murphy and Christopher Wells.

According to the NYPD and published reports, Rondell Goppy, 41, started shooting at the two officers as soon as he walked into his 179th Street home shortly before 1 p.m. The cops were there to escort the suspect’s wife into the residence.

“The wife walked into the 105th Precinct this morning. She said her husband choked her,’’ a law-enforcement source told the New York Post. “The domestic-violence officers went back with her to the house to get some stuff.”

Both officers’ wounds required surgery at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.

“Two courageous NYPD cops were shot today doing the job the public asks them to do. By the grace of God they will survive — but this is a stark reminder of the inherent dangers our men and women in blue face as they keep people safe. They do it on behalf of every New Yorker,” said NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan.
