At least for one beautiful Saturday afternoon in Howard Beach residents forgot about COVID-19, focused on community—and reveled in the innocence and wonderment that only children can provide—especially at Christmas time, and now during the Easter season that encourages new beginnings.
Two-hundred kids participated at the popular event on Cross Bay Boulevard. And 200 Easter baskets were donated to the drive.
Here’s to a job well done by Joann Ariola and the Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic—and our extended Howard Beach family.
